Where A Rouse House Becomes Your Home
All of the finishing touches of your new home will be picked by you! You’ll select cabinetry, countertops, faucets, flooring and so much more. We offer an extensive menu of high-end, industry-leading products that you can see and touch before making your decision.
Discover your inner designer and determine what you like best! We are constantly updating and upgrading our offerings to provide you with the latest trends and desired options. There are no pre-determined combinations or packages. Your family will select the materials and colors that you like the most and that fit your lifestyle.
Our Design Studio Team has helped hundreds of buyers design their new homes. Her experience and knowledge will assist you in making the selections for your home stress-free and enjoyable.
What to Expect Throughout the Process
The first appointment will be virtual. This allows our buyers to schedule their initial appointment at a time convenient for him or her – in between appointments, on a lunch break, or even in between kids’ sports practices. Your family can join in from wherever they are, as well!
Share your favorite ideas and vision with us, and we will show you how that can be achieved with your future Rouse Chamberlin home. It’s important for you to share your lifestyle needs with us as well. For example, if you have children or high volumes of traffic in and out of your home, durable flooring will be extremely important to resist wear and tear.
Once your initial preview is complete, our Design Studio Team will send you a list of all your possibilities. These are not set in stone at this time and can be altered as you think through your selections.
Your final selections appointment will be held inside the Design Studio. Here, a member of our Design Studio Team will have your options laid out to view your selections side-by-side. This appointment you allow you to see your dream home selections come to life!

Do I need an appointment to visit the Design Studio?
Yes. After you have selected a floor plan with your Community Specialist, he or she will schedule a time for you to have a virtual meeting with our Design Studio Team.
When will I meet with the Design Studio Team?
Once you’re under deposit, you will schedule your first, virtual studio preview. You do not have to have a signed agreement of sale – as with some other builders.
How long are the appointments?
The first virtual appointment is typically one to two hours long. An in-person appointment can be anywhere between 3 to 5 hours.
Which days are available for design studio appointments?
Appointments will be scheduled on Weekdays and By Appointment Only.
At which time are my selections final?
Selections are final after your final in-person appointment.
How can I prepare and make the most of my design studio appointment?
Be aware of your must-haves and your absolutely-nots that you’d like included in your new home! You may share photos and ideas with our Design Studio Team, and they will assist you with how to achieve this with the selections we offer. Don’t forget to think about how furniture and personal items will fit inside your new home!
Which items will I select?
You will select ALL interior finished no matter if you have bought a townhome or a single-family home. This includes appliances, countertops, cabinets, appliances, bathroom vanity, faucets, lighting, door & door hardware, closet systems, and flooring/tile.
If you purchase a single-family home, you will also select exterior color options.
